Sieg oder Walhalla

Die Ruhe vor dem Sturm wird durchbrochen durch ein lautes Klopfen. Metall schlägt auf Metall und Holz. Die Frequenz der Schläge nimmt kontinuierlich zu, ebenso wie die Lautstärke. Es müssen hunderte, vielleicht auch um die tausend Schwerter und Äxte sein, die immer wieder gegen die Schilder ihrer Träger schlagen. Zu den Geräuschen der Waffen gesellt sich ein leiser aber eindringlicher Singsang. Mit einem unaufhaltsamen Crescendo schwillt die Geräuschkulisse zu einem barbarischen Getöse an. Die Anspannung entlädt sich mit angriffslustigen Schreien und die Meute setzt sich in Bewegung. 
Auf der anderen Seite der grasbewachsenen Ebene stehen mit schlotternden Knien die sächsischen Verteidiger. Sie sehen verstört und ängstlich aus. Auf sie stürzt sich eine todesmutige Armee, von bis auf die Zähne bewaffneten Wikingern. Die nachfolgende Schlacht ist mörderisch. Sachsen fallen unter den aggressiven Hieben der normannischen Streitäxte. Krieger mit gehörnten Helmen vergehen in einer Flut aus Pfeilen und Speeren. Trotz hoher Verluste auf beiden Seiten, ist es ein ungleicher Kampf. 
Die Nordmänner metzeln sich in ihrem Blutrausch unaufhaltsam durch die feindlichen Linien. Schlußendlich unterliegen die Briten und fliehen panisch, vor den siegreichen Kindern Odins. 

Wākhan gibt heute einen musikalischen Epos zum besten. Die basslastigen Percussions erzeugen eine magische Rhythmik. Die lieblichen Vocals versetzen ihre Hörer in Trance. Satt wie Met aus einem Füllhorn schallt der KataHaifisch Podcast 190 aus allen erdenklichen Klangerzeugern und verzückt seine gespannte Zuhörerschaft.

Enjoy the last Karambula Podcast createt from our resident DJ Paul Almqvist.
Born in the 80s in an East German town near Dresden, Paul discovered at a young age that music was something big in his life.
It started with listening to 80s synth-pop through his father's headphones.
In 2005, after years in the punk rock and skateboard scene, he started buying electronic music on vinyl at the local record store and mixing it.
He has now been a resident of Zurich since 2014 and has already played almost every club in the city.
Looking back on his performance at one of the mainstages of Streetparade in 2017 and many bookings with afterlife acts, it was not a bad choice to move to Zurich.
Now he is resident at the event label Karambula since mid 2020.

Gefüllt mit den verschiedensten Zutaten, wird unser auditiver Cortex mit akustischen Reizen gefüttert, welche die Großhirnrinde in wellenförmiges Vibrieren versetzen. 

Einige Etagen tiefer macht sich das natürlich auch gleich mal bemerkbar und wir erwischen uns dabei, wie der ganze Körper vor sich hin wobbelt.

Another legendary club that closed down too soon in 2015, Vessel was a beautifully designed club in the middle of San Francisco, with a top notch sound system. I always loved to play there, especially open to close sets. This one here is 5 hours long and from February 2014. Today´s show features the second hour of the set. The interesting thing with Vessel was, that it was not a “pure” techno club, actually just a few techno nights were on in this place and I guess, I was always among the most “underground” DJs to play there. I love those kind of challenges, to get a crowd going that is not only there to hear you, but also filled with people who might have never heard this kind of music before, let alone knew who I was. This is why this set is for some of you maybe all over the place and a little more tamed down, but as far as I remember, that night was quite a belter :)  People were always up for a good party in there, no matter what the musical direction. Vendex is a DJ and producer born in Barcelona. He began to mix at the age of 14 to 15 years and began to produce in 2016 various genres and subgenres of electronic music. He is now focused on techno, specifically in the Dark, Industrial, Acid and Hard Techno.
During the summers he grew up in Ibiza, since he has family on the island, thanks to this he had at his disposal many artists and genres with different influences.

Today he has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness. Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural, reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld. Generating sounds that guide the Dantesque idea of ​​a trip in the underworld with the aim of reaching paradise. All this through a forceful and enveloping sound, this creating a path to the nine levels of hell, purgatory and finally reaching paradise.
