Mysterious text message received from Kyle by Trent at 11:49pm Thursday night, soon after Impact Wrestling went off the air. "Hey Trent, 6-foot 2 blonde, legs from here to Cleveland, we'll do the review later!" FIVE DAYS later and Kyle is MIA so what do we do? Who do we call to help review the December 13th episode of Impact Wrestling? Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Cousin Bryan to the show who came in last minute to pinch hit for a missing Kyle! What an episode! We had Ultimate X'ers qualify for the HUGE Ultimate X match at Homecoming and mental patients running rampant all over Las Vegas! What else could happen!?

Rich Swann faced Dave Crist to fill the third slot in the Ultimate X and in the process only further confused the whole situation with Willie Mack! What exactly is going on with these two? What is Rich hiding? 

McKenzie Mitchell's dress proves there is a god.

Josh Matthews conducts an in-ring between the top two Knockouts in Impact Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie hyping their match at Homecoming for the Knockouts Championship and boy oh boy did it get heated fast! To top it all off, Tessa's day got worse when she found out that none other than Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim would be the special guest referee for the match! How much more can this deck be stacked?

Trevor Lee took on Trey Miguel for the fourth and final slot in the Ultimate X match at Homecoming in what was this Rascal's official solo debut and did he ever deliver! Hell it was so special, Trevor even shaved his chest for the match!

Konnan is pissed. Like really pissed.

Su Yung has officially turned Allie darker than the devil's heart and she is hyper-focused on destroying every other knockout in the way. Is Keira Hogan going to be first?

Santana took on Fenix in a singles match for a slight little preview of the LAX vs. Lucha Brothers Tag Team Championship match at Homecoming and they delivered like Domino's on a cold December night! If this match was any indication of what we have in store at Homecoming, just throw your money down now.

Johnny Impact doesn't seem like he likes Killer Kross does he?

The legendary Raven is having a lovely game of chess at the Shady Acres insane asylum when Eli Drake interrupts to talk hardcore wrestling and how much he loves, er..hates it! Did you ever think you'd see Raven facing off with Eli Drake in anything?

Chacha Gama Singh is still drooling over the Smokeshow Scarlett Bordeaux. STILL.

Brian Cage took on Moose in the main event and these two big behemoths literally shook the ring! When you look up the term "beat the piss out of each other" you'll probably see a photo of this match because they hit hard. Animal vs. Machine! And to top it all off? An escaped Eddie Edwards attacked Moose with a hospital gown on! What is happening!?

TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 1.18.19 Review: Raging Cage, Suspensions, and Sportcoats!

Viva la Mexico! Impact Wrestling is back in Mexico City once again to kick off a stay of tapings that involve a lot of people being angry at each other and gunning for championships. The heat south of the border has everyone fired up but hey, at least the margaritas are cold!

Sami Callihan and Rich Swann's storied past continues to level up more and more. We find a little more about what Sami has been holding over Rich's  head but is that enough to make Rich repay the supposed debt he owes Sami?
 
We had the Impact debut of Melissa Santos in a backstage role to replace the departed McKenzie Mitchell and she did great! She not only interviewed Moose with his crazy Elton John sunglasses alongside Killer Kross but also Jordynne Grace and Keira Hogan with Rosemary making her eerie presence felt!

Taya Valkyrie was in action and quickly disposed of Keyra but made sure to call out the recently suspended Tessa Blanchard. When will these two clash again? How does Gail Kim fit in?
 
The Rascalz party in Mexico the only way they know how but AFTER the partying is done backstage they are in action against The Desi Hit Squad! Was the hot fire flame enough to take out Chacha Gama Singh's hit squad? 
Scarlett Bordeaux makes her in-ring debut in 3 weeks! Set those DVR's gentlemen!

Ethan Page took on Trey Miguel in a singles match in a classic David vs. Goliath matchup that allowed Page to showcase his adaptability to the X-Division style even more! 
In the most anticipated match of the night, Killer Kross got his shot against Johnny Impact for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship and this match did not disappoint from the brutality scale! Kross was out for blood but not on Brian Cage's watch! The title picture is stacked with all targets on Johnny. What can the champion do to withstand this onslought?

TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 1.25.19 Review: Rich History, Rascally Rascalz, and Mexico!

Back in Mexico City and while the Polar Vortex is freezing most of the US, things are heating up south of the border! 

It's Lucha wars as The Lucha Brothers have officially given LAX a put up or shut up ultimatum and this time it's for the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Titles and that match is set to happen next week following the Lucha Brothers big win in the 6 man tag team match to kick things off! But where does that leave Konnan? He knew this would happen but so far he's staying calm....for now.

Rosemary has upped her disappearing act to Houdini levels at this point and she is driving Allie insane! Literally insane, look at Allie, she looks like she has seen a ghost (literally)!

Strange Bedfellows unite as the unlikely duo of Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake join forces, somewhat reluctantly and take on the Rascalz but what  the hell is up with Eli Drake? Is he hardcore, is he not hardcore, does he want the old Eddie back, WHY does he want the old Eddie back!? So many questions! 

Rich Swann's dark history is getting revealed more and more every week. What's Sami's ultimate endgame? Does he want Rich to guilt him a title shot? What are they putting in the water in Ohio!?

What an interesting main event scene we have; Kross hates Johnny, Cage hates Kross, Kross, hates Cage, Cage also hates Johnny, Moose hates everyone! What in the world is going to happen when this power keg hits it's 3rd explosion? All three have beaten the champion at one time or another but no titles have changed. Johnny has been weakened but who will be one to deliver the death blow? So many contenders, so few titles!

TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 2.1.19 Review: Lucha Wars, Hot Tubs, and Strange Bedfellows!

One of the most anticipated tag team matches in IMPACT Wrestling history was set to take place on this episode on February 8th 2019 live from Fronton, Mexico as LAX Santana and Ortiz defended their longest reigning tag team championships against The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix! The crowd was Cero Miedio'ing all night long for what has already become a match of the year contender! 

This Rich Swann and OVE/Sami Callihan thing keeps getting weirder. What is he holding over Rich's head? It can't just be the poverty thing, there has to be more, right?

Rosemary continues to haunt Su Yung and Allie. Hidden messages, disappearing acts, optical illusions, and more keep pushing Allie to the edge. But where does Su Yung fit into all this? Can she keep thing at bay?

Johnny Impact is suddenly informed that his main event match at Uncaged, originally thought to be against just Brian Cage is now a 4-way with Cage, Moose, and Kross? This screws Cage just as much as it screws anyone else. What will happen at Uncaged?

Moose and Kross are not seeing eye to eye and in case you missed it, Trent recites the short story of the Scorpion and the Frog that Kross brought up as a metaphor for his position. What is going to happen with these two next week?

We also had a preview of what to expect for AAA vs. IMPACT next week featuring Puma King, Aerostar, Psycho Clown and Vikingo taking on Eli Drake, Eddie Edwards, Fallah Bahh, and Sami Callihan. Strange combination indeed but a little bit of everything for everyone!

TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 2.8.19 Review: Lucha Brothers, Scorpions, and Twitter Fights!

As IMPACT Wrestling got ready to wrap up their stay in Mexico they did it in style by presenting Uncaged on February 15, 2019 headlined by Johnny Impact defending the IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against Brian Cage, Killer Kross, and Moose.

But wait the other voice you hear alongside Trent is not our buddy Kyle, oh no that’s a whole different voice but it sounds like it should be familiar. But even before we tell you who that is what the hell happened to Kyle? Again he has missed a taping! Where is Kyle? What has happened to the Kyleman? To the scumbag from New York? Well truth be told ladies and gentlemen the Kyleman is sick and potentially on the brink of facing his mortality as he battles pneumonia in this harsh New York winter. But to cover his ass we got an even better ass. A guy who is a good brother brother. A guy who came through in the clutch late night and a guy who had some awesome insight and you might’ve heard on Trent’s other podcast The Backstage Boys, Basil Mahmud is in the house to talk Uncaged!(and take jabs at Kyle in the process!)

Quite possibly one of the most unpredictable shows of the Mexico tapings with a very hot made event that left everybody wondering what is next for the world championship. Only time will tell as we are now heading to Las Vegas to see where all the distraction left in Mexico ends up back home in the United States.

TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 2.15.19 Review: UNCAGED, BSB Invasion, and Kyle’s Dead!?

A swerve!? A reverse hostile takeover!? What is going on the last few weeks at Total Nonstop Impact!? As an attempted revenge for last week's Backstage Boys takeover by Trent bringing Basil on the show to stand in for Kyle, Kyle now tried to turn the tables on Trent and solo pod! But alas the Trentster was onto the Kyleman and ran in at the 11th hour to get on the show!

What an episode we had to kick off the Las Vegas stay for IMPACT Wrestling at the Sam's Town Casino! The World Heavyweight Championship picture continues to get more and more layers added to it as Johnny escaped death once again by enlisting the help of Brian Cage to help him out next week. Kyle & Trent give their thoughts on where they want the title picture to end up but as of right now it is moving a little slower than expected. 

Sami Callihan makes hospital visits! But no this isn't some Make a Wish thing, this is a visit with an ulterior motive as he finally cracks Rich Swann's shell and gets him to accept the family that wants him. Will Rich formally join OVE?

Chacha Gama Singh rocked the Rascalz, Trey Miguel, Dezmond Xavier, and Zachary Wentz with that Old Country Blend and his special super hitter hookah! The Rascalz have never had anything like this and it showed! 

Tessa and Taya legit hate each other. We are convinced this is never going to end. Ever.

Is Eddie Edwards hardcore? Wait, is Eli Drake hardcore? We thought Eli hated hardcore? Doesn't Eddie like it though? Hang on what the hell is happening here? 

LAX did it! They finally snapped! Enough was enough and LAX, Ortiz & Santana came up short in their rematch with The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix but while they didn't leave with the belts, they left with the Lucha Brothers' masks! We are off to the races, there is no stopping this train now.

In professional wrestling there have been epic showdowns over the years. We have seen some of the legends of the ring involved in some of the bloodiest, most emotional battles known to man but on this day, our very own Total Nonstop IMPACT was the stage for one of the most heated feuds in wrestling history as TNI’s resident Scumbag, Kyle Lawrence faced off against the Underhanded Outsider, Basil Mahmud with middle man Peacemaker Trent Zuberi in the middle!

We made our listeners choose sides, we tore homes apart, Trent was between a rock and a hard place, it got heated, things went crazy but we still managed to get a review out of the March 1st 2019 episode of IMPACT Wrestling live from Sam's Town in Las Vegas, Nevada!
