    and He created __  the heaven and the earth

There's been a fight on down through the ages
between our God- who formed and made us
Satan wanted to steal the show
that snake convinced us to 
Go-down a dark path full of misery
Go- far away from the life giving tree 


In the darkness, God is calling
Satan trips us we are falling
further from our Maker's hand
Hope seems lost, sinking sand
Yet God was working to bring back
His lost children from attack
His plan was not what we see
How can we be free?


The deceiver had a man working on the inside
a kiss of death from a friend
taken from the garden drug by force
by the soldiers and religious men
In the courtyard you can hear Satan cry
through the mouth of the crowd
CRUCIFY HIM!  KILL HIM! Rally to my side!
I RULE!!!!              (Maniacal  laughing)

blood and death was the cost
brutality on a cross
at the place of the skull

when Jesus life had been tossed

The tide of the battle had turned
He appeared up from the grave
with the keys of death and hell

Rallying His small band of followers
to get the word out He was alive, the King had risen
Then He ascended up to His throne on high
with word to endure till He returned

Since then blow after blow, the battle has gone
The souls of men in the balance
Satan trying to drag them down to Hell, where He'll end up
While Jesus brings life to all those who come to His side

and the good news is that there will be a last battle
where Jesus will command a great host of followers
Where He will kick Satan to the curb, wipe up the floor with Him

I made this song after going through 3 hospitalizations; from blood transfusions to being AFib… and literally felt like I was drowning and couldn’t get a grip… I was tired and drained and my heart was heavy
