One writer described Plague Dad as two parts Stanley Brothers and three parts Minutemen; another called it grungefolk. Whatever you call it, the folks who hear it, particularly live, seem to connect with it.

This is a catchy little number in a major key, but don't let that fool you; it speaks to the loneliness, pain and rejection that so much a part of our lives these days. It's also got a a helluva hook.
