Upon arriving at the DMA, she helped lead a reimagining of the Indigenous American Art galleries. From excavating a royal tomb in the Peten to transforming the way that thousands of visitors to the museum learn about the Ancient Maya, Dr. Rich's work continues to demonstrate the close relationships between archaeology and museum studies.
