BURN is a straight forward, unapologetic modern thrash metal song, with elements of drum and bass. It is meant to be direct and aggressive, and give sort of a “heat of the moment” vibe. The lyrics are written to represent someone who sees their world go up in flames (literally and figuratively), and has lost all faith in humanity. It’s written about many different relevant world events, such as wars, climate change and corruption in politics. It is quite a dark song both musically and lyrically, and is not meant to be suiting or reassuring, but rather as song you can scream and mosh to. It is in many ways a “venting” song. It's also a kick ass song to kick off a live metal set.

MARTYR represents a new beginning for CHAIN HOME as a band, as this is the first song not based on old unreleased songs from us since we started up again.
This is our most powerful and hard-hitting song yet, MARTYR explores the mind of a leader who is willing to give his life for his people, to fight tyrany and opression. Heavily inspired by recent events, such as the death of Alexej Navalnyj, MARTYR is an unapologetic, hard and melancholic modern metal song, the first of it's kind from us. We are very proud of what we have achieved here.
