Having just been awarded the 'Round Table Global Youth Award 2019' for Environmental Innovation for her music activism, 'We Don't Care About You' is a narrative on today's sociopolitical affairs, the climate crisis and lack of action on a corporate & governmental level, receiving its debut airing two weeks in a row on BBC Introducing in mid-October, and was performed at Introducing Live 2019 on its release date (November 1st), and for a live lounge session and interview for Hampshire and Surrey's Eagle Radio. It is a protest against the abuse of power, and a cry for voices to be heard. BRUCH is a passionate advocate for individual responsibility and group impact in the fight against global warming and ecological breakdown, and shares this through her music. As an artist with Asperger's Syndrome, her passion and individuality shine through her music. BRUCH is a completely self-produced, singer-songwriter.

We Don't Care About You

'Hold On'  is a self-produced fusion of experimental percussion and alternative electronica, with my own classical cello accompaniment; exploring the relationship between the body and our emotions - after a period of mental turmoil, we can often convince our brain that we have survived the wave of anxiety, but physical signs of tension and stress still remain, however unwanted.

'Swear' (released 30/10) discusses domestic violence within an abusive relationship, as a metaphor for man's relentless, disparaging mistreatment of the earth.
'Swear' aired as BBC Introducing's Record of the Week (w/c 17/10) on Steph Nieuwenhuys's Saturday night show. As a self-produced artist, BRUCH's training in classical cello enabled her to arrange and record the entire string section herself during lockdown. The official music video will be released the day after the single.

BRUCH's music is powered by the fight for our planet and the state of socio-political affairs. Sometimes, music can reach further than mere spoken words. If more awareness can be spread through word or music, greater understanding can fuel the movement to protect our earth. BRUCH’s latest single, We Don’t Care About You, challenges the lack of action on a corporate and governmental scale in response to the climate crisis and rapid ecological breakdown.

Following her first four 4 singles, BRUCH'S long-awaited debut EP, Autis, was released December 8th, 2018 on all major platforms, with three tracks from the EP - Before Our Time, Crown. (Autis Edit) and Tortoise Skin - premiered on BBC Introducing Solent in the run-up to the release, to great praise from both the hosts and listeners alike, and BRUCH was recently invited to perform the tracks in the live lounge.
