The 1st of my productions to be put out for the fans and public to get to know me a little better.

I was going through a challenging time in my life when I wrote this album, but after everything was done and dusted I managed to reflect on what I had written and recorded, and it made me a stronger person as well as a stronger musician.

I hope this EP inspires you to change and become a better person and hopefully you will enjoy my music.

Neph Boys - iBoso

I was born on the 10th of July 1989, in the city of Durban. I grew up in the community of Wentworth, in a small hood called the "Barracks". Influence by U.S.A hiphop group Bone thugs and artist 2 pac made way for my rap career. With their street knowledge ,personal encounters and life stories. I felt as if I lived in the same space as they did. 
More recently, Rapper Kendrick Lamar shaped my rap career into beauty of relevance, in terms of lifestyle and music.
In 2013, I had the honour of meeting the #1 rapper in the world "Kendrick Lamar" in my very hood. Watching him with the residence, inspired me to be that kind of vocal figure in my community and to the world of hiphop. 
I've been on this dream path since 2009.
I recorded numerous singles and mixtapes that inspire listeners to want more. Which makes me push even harder towards reaching my dream. 

What music means to me. 

It is a way to express myself. It is a chance to play with words and be creative. A few words can speak a thousand stories. It’s a form of art, a sense of expression. I believe it is the way to get my point across, I’m a self proclaimed musician, rapper ,vocalist and hip hop artist therefore I am an artist who tries to connect with people an their emotions an thoughts through my music, my feelings, my views. It means, being myself through my words. Showing my emotions, my feeling, my thoughts, and pouring myself on the surface using words and music. 

Music is a bonding agent. It takes the reality and blends it into need, freedom and a mode of expression that allows emotion to flow and take each person from the world in which they live to the world where their soul will go. For me music has become a way to share knowledge gained. Challenge all thought process, give message from young to old, share what I can see, report, and taste every aspect of being alive. Convert all to a communication form that allows each person to take away only what they need at that particular point in their life.

 I let the words surround me an listen to the beauty of their presence, the music created, escape to rest and peace…

In Conclusion 

As I said in the beginning, I was born here in Durban, South Africa and I've lived here my whole life. I would like to stay in South Africa and take rap and hip hop music to the next level and keep it real in my own mother land before I do globally. With that said ,try to get as much as you can out of life. You're only here on borrowed time and can be gone in a wink of an eye. Here's what I live by: “If you think it, it can be done.
