Ideal for film, TV, and visual storytelling, Weekend #1 blends ambient warmth with cinematic depth — perfect for scenes that linger, breathe, and feel real.

Originally written around 1999, when I was playing in a local band called Kerisan, Weekend #1 was performed live at the Oliver Twist in Colchester but never properly recorded — until now. That original idea stayed with me for years, and this new version brings it to life with a modern, cinematic touch.

you wake up everyday and think you are so new,
drink up your cofee and read the paper news,
people killing but we dont know who,
are we supposed to trust to make the rules,
leading everyman to be upset and then abuse,
d ont know which way to take to reach the truth,
still people dying right infront of the youths
and all i can hear left and right is so confused,
used used and overused

So yes i beleive, in things i d ont see
its not only me, we live in a dream
who who who who who can say we re not crazy
maybe you you you you got an answer for me

so you, get back from work everyday sit down and like a fool,
switch on your tv and beleive what they diffuse,
entertaining and exciting coz it amuse,
while children suffer, because of food.
i know everybody s got his own kind of excuse,
but our house is burning, and we re on the roof!
so stand up and sing with me something to refuse
freedom and love will never ever be taboo,
from the jungle to the zoo!!
