Huldr is a conceptual project, born from the imagination of Oslo based jazz singer and songwriter Guro Eliassen Kverndokk who studies at the Grieg Academy in Bergen.

Guro brought her creation to life in collaboration with music producers, dancers, photographers and artists. It is a 21st century twist on the ancient Huldra myth, an enchanting female spirit that represents feminine empowerment as a counterpoint to the objectification of women in the music industry. The sound is dark and introspective but also soft and intimate, lyrically reflecting female sensuality and sexuality.
