Justine Boesen og Mathæus Bech releasing their second album, produced by the legendary Danish musician Bo Stief, who has played with everyone from Danish rockmamma Sanne Salomonsen to Miles Davis.


The album "Beautiful Night" reflects the important questions that arise, when, like Justine and Mathæus, you are the place in life where it gets serious. It is described with important, marvelous and beautiful words that blend with beautifully played music that is completely theirs own and very special. It has also managed, in a genuine and poetic way, to get the music and the songs to reflect that it takes place right here where we live - here in DK.

“Justine and Mathæus aim high for the best of the best. Their music and poems flow natural and is for them a necessity, like breathing, and therefore their expression becomes without ulterior motives and strategies. With passion and desire as the driving force, Justine and Mathæus create
varied, catchy music and catchy words. ” tells Bo Stief
Justine and Mathæus had for some years visited the legendary bassist to seek good advice
and guidance around the music. It created a desire to get the music wider, and it happened
therefore it is natural to invite Bo Stief to the recording process.
“One of the best things about Bo is his ability to live up to the fact that music is essential and universal.
He is like a musical astronaut who has seen the earth from the outside and can always see things from a larger one perspective." tells bassist and guitarist, Mathæus Bech.
The recording process turned out to be very special - the best the young musicians have so far
tried. It was a relief to have outside ears present.
These are original compositions and poems, elaborated over time and colored by Justine
and Mathæus ’high artistic level. Also the constellation is original: accordion and western
guitar with special mood and strong singing voices.
The album will not be released on streaming services, but only as an LP.
