This is the second pass.  Did some correction and remixing to get rid of twang and work the guitar automation.  A little bit more mixed, but not a full mix yet.

This just the guitars and 1 synth drone.  Eventually the guitars will fade out (mostly) and be replaced with synths, as is the general nature of the rest of this Suite.

Old Castle Mix2

Final mix until I start adding sound effects for the full album.

I've added some bass, lowered the strings a bit, and brought in some horns that make a reappearance in the next movement, The Gnome.  

New to this mix:  Augmenting my arsenal of synths with the Roland Cloud.  Gives me more than 1 JD800 at a time and frees up some specialty cards I have for hardware.

Pictures Promenade 1

Rough pass. Nothing Mixed.  Drums are just temporary - some didn't stop when they should have.  I'm liking the instrumentation, but I don't want to sound too annoying (Tomita?).  Thanks to the Roland Sound Cloud for some extra synth help.

2 Pictures Gnome Test1

Promenade #3 from Pictures at an Exhibition.  Shows some of the instrumentation transition from  Promenade 1 (starting with Renaissance patch on JD800)which appeared in the Gnome and to a lesser degree Promenade 2 and The Castle.  That patch does not appear in this movement, but the Vulcan Harp (Wavestation A/D) which ends this movement will be noticeable in the next movement, The Tuileries, as well.

I had to replace one of the software synths and create a new patch because the existing one  was introducing noise, regardless of platform.

That's how I got to Memphis, inspired by the last episode of The Newsroom.  Not mixed, no vocals yet.

I wonder what composers like Grieg would do given todays access to Synthesizers and Sound.  This is my interpretation of Grieg's Watchman's Song for Piano.  This is the live version based on the Piano version.

Inspired by Yo-Yo Ma, performed  in Digital Perfomer using Reason Friktion for Cello sound and Waves Abby Road Reverb.

Reworked the timing, articulation, and Tempo.  I like this one better.
