Deep Space Series

In this first episode of the Deep Space Series we present to you, the Italian based Ness!

His pure, mind shifting sound is exactly the direction we want to go in on this new podcast platform. 

Ness has worked with labels like Phorma (Sweden), Synewave (USA), Dynamic Reflection (The Netherlands), M_Rec Ltd. (Italy), Informa (UK), Prologue (Germany), etc. and collaborated with artists like Claudio PRC half member of The Gods Planet, Deepbass, Attemporal, Rasmus Hedlund, etc. 

Currently he is running TGP - an independent platform established since 2010 with Claudio PRC.

Ness his sound can be defined as an exploration of wide range of deep and hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

We are extremely excited that we have Belgium's best kept secret on our series. This man creates pure space, his productions on testtoon records and other imprints are always on point.

Subsequently shifting from atmosphere, contrast and sources, the signals produce a stream of events from a parallel world that invites as much as it challenges.

DSS 002 | Oubys

The third element of the series is by Hydrangea aka Horty Shooter. Expect a deep and warm musical experience.

Hydrangea is a new French electronic producer, doing techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic Italian techno.

Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

@deep-space-series founder Hendrik Bergs (aka The Lizard of Oz) presents a luminescent ambient mix for Patterns of Perception, a sister mix of sorts to our own mix for DSS in 2016.

Since its launch in December 2015, Deep Space Series has placed itself at the forefront of deep techno, with its podcast series featuring mixes from artists of the calibre of @ness, @skymn, @isorinne, @joachim-spieth, @ntogn and @hydrangeamusic.

Recorded live as part of the Museum of the Moon exhibition at Belgian trans-disciplinary sound festival OORtreders, Deep Space Series’s mix for Patterns of Perception is sparse and spacious, drawing the listener in with layers of darkness and light.
