How and when did you get into electronic music?

Dub. Dub got me interested in electronic music. It was a very natural progression for me to start listening to reggae in my early teens, followed by dub, Trip Hop, then Dnb and Jungle, then later on Dubstep (the good kind, obviously). I actually wasn't interested in Techno or "House" at all until just a few years ago.

Which musical moments have been especially memorable to you?

Portishead and Massive attack will always have a special place with me. When their respective debut albums came out my mind pretty much exploded. I have a special little moment everytime I hear those two. Other than that; any moment that involves a few friends, the great outdoors, and great music are usually pretty memorable…

Which plans do you have for the future?

Produce more, play more… I’m not ready to quit my day job yet, but I ill certainly try to put more time into music now that it seems people are listening.

If you could choose to play at any venue in the world, which place would it be?

Oooh, tough one…
Can we clear out some space somewhere in the Angkor Wat and have a session there? That would be pretty fucking dreamy….

A pretty important music friend of mine once advised me to craft my sets shorter. She likes the short format very much and does a lot to make sure there are lots of really, really wonderful of her storytelling podcasts on the internet. However, I prefer the long one. Nevertheless, today I gave it a try to craft a short set. The funny thing is that the entire production of this set only took me 2 hours. Some online digging and then mixed in one shot. I hope you like the outcome as much as I do ....and I have to frankly admit, that I like it mucho.

Aufgewachsen im alten Keller des Scandale Cottbus entwickelte Michel schnell die Liebe für House und Techno. Es war nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis der heute 19-Jährige sich selbst an die Teller stellen würde. Nachdem der Weihnachtsmann vor knapp 3 Jahren dann endlich einen Controller unter dem Christbaum legte, gab es keinen Halt mehr und die Nachbarn mussten dran glauben. Dran glauben müssen wir gerade alle und damit wir nicht im Winterschlaf versacken, hat er uns einen sehr treibenden und energiegeladenen Mix bereitgestellt.
