I play what David Crosby used to call "wooden music" just acoustic guitar and voice. This type of music is like good old home cooking to me. Here is an artist most will have never heard but he plays some good "wooden music". I wish more would know of him. My cover of "Appalachia Haze" is an attempt to do this.
 
Ian Noe (born May 9, 1990) is a singer-songwriter from Beattyville, Kentucky US.
In 2007 Ian Noe won the grand prize in the Appalachian Starsearch in Hazard, Kentucky, with his original song Don't Let The Morning Bring Ya Down.
