Goblins In The Trees

I wasn't sure exactly which direction I was going when I started writing and recording this song. (I wrote it while I was recording) It turned out to be more melodic than a lot of my material. I usually decide the title during the recording session, because the sounds will bring certain images and memories to mind. In this case it was a recurring dream that I've had quite often and it has always given me a feeling of euphoria. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for listening!

Flying In A Dream

I wrote and recorded this song in a similar fashion as "Highway Of Glass" as far as starting and completing the different sections "randomly."  Sometimes it seems like the songs create themselves and that was definitely the case with this track. I wanted something a bit darker (as the title implies) to come to near completion of the album. To me the sounds evoke images of traveling through a dark cave with only a torch for light.

This track brings the completion of my 10 song album of electronic music. (I'm still in the process of creating an album title and cover art) It has taken approximately 3 months and many hours to write and record. I wanted this one to be a brooding, slow type of build up with clean bass sounds mixed with heavy, saturated synth leads. Big thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen to my music. 👌✌
