I finally found some motivation to record another "full length" track. The recording process was beginning to be tedious and tiresome so I decided to take a break. Instead, I've been learning all that I can about sound synthesis and practicing those techniques in order to use that knowledge during the song writing and recording process. The sound is influenced heavily by the editing process. For example, several instrument tracks are mixed using the stereo effect with the sound running through different modulation effects and different EQ settings in each ear. I composed this one in my usual fashion of constructing a drum sequence, layering and editing it and then laying the bassline over it. After that, I will complete different sections in no particular order until the song feels complete. Parts made me think of being in a swamp-like enviornment at night. Also, I gained some inspiration from a fictional character who is blind, has psychic vision and drinks absinthe.
