Misty Morning

Uruguay takes you inside the thoughts of a writer from Montevideo. Conflicted by their path in life, while seeing no future in their craft, they will venture away to eventually return to the page. Realising not only the worth in their art, but the worth a themself. A simple and innocent journey that will lead them to 'Uncover the Sky'. The 3rd and final single from the 'Murmurings' EP, what first appears as an acoustic ballad then explodes into a dramatic middle 8 when the clouds open up.

Beyond The Wash - I Don't Want To Change You (Lockdown Lounge - The Irish Jam)

Known for combining explosive energy with a lyrical sensitivity, Beyond the Wash is an alt-pop artist from Cork, Ireland. He quickly became recognised for conceptual music works that bring together artists from many different creative fields such as dance, design and book making. 

Drawn to music from an early age, Patrick O’Donnell spent his formative years listening to an eclectic array of artists, including  Radiohead, David Bowie, FKA twigs & Peter Gabriel. 

Beyond the Wash as a stage name for his music came into being in early 2019, two singles followed later that year, Misty Morning and Dusktime. The later was accompanied by a music video featured by global arts and cultural platform Booooooom.tv. (https://tv.booooooom.com/2019/10/28/beyond-the-wash-dusktime/) Their first single of 2020, Uruguay was released to positive critical acclaim.

These songs are part of a highly anticipated EP, ‘Murmurings’ (due for digital release in June 2020). This 4-track outing is a diverse mix of alt.pop  with each song evoking a season. 
 
Coming off the back of shows in Whelans, the White Horse Sessions and the world renowned Ruby Sessions, 2019 wrapped up with a launch show in Coughlans Live. 2020 promises to be a big year, as alongside a number of showcase gigs, Beyond the Wash return to the studio in June to build on the momentum already generated. With a release expected in November 2020.
