The song „Nonstop Electronic Music“ features vocal samples by Stella Wassermann who sadly died in 2011. The songs had been demoed around 2008 and then discontinued when Stella got ill. „After her death I couldn’t get myself to touch these songs, until now“ says PJ Wassermann „but now I’m very happy to hear Stella’s beautiful and intriguing voice on a new Schaltkreis production. It’s an homage to the other half of Schaltkreis Wassermann.“

Nonstop Electronic Music

New single by Schaltkreis Wassermann.
Schaltkreis Wassermann is a veteran group of early 80s electronica with their cult album PSYCHOTRON. The duo that consisted of Stella and PJ Wassermann fused wild psychedelic experiments with their exploration of analog synthesizers that at that time were completely new and futuristic. But they also included pop and dance elements. Sadly Stella died in 2011. 

After the vinyl re-release  of PSYCHOTRON in 2012 by Private Records, Berlin, PJ Wassermann reactivated Schaltkreis Wassermann. Since then there were lots of compilations with Schaltkreis songs and remixes by Daniele Baldelli and In Flagranti. 2017 saw the release of the album "Early 80s" that consists of singles, edits and unreleased tracks that are older than PSYCHOTRON. 

In 2018 Schaltkreis released completely new music. Legendary Cosmic DJ Beppe Loda says: "I’m playing a lot ‘NONSTOP ELECTRONIC MUSIC’, it really is a DANCEFLOOR KILLER TRACK!“. Now new singles are coming out on a regular basis.

Wasserfall - Schaltkreis Wassermann

This song is based on a synthesized conga rhythm loop created on an ARP 2600 synth in the early 80s. 

Apart from that it's typical for current Schaltkreis Wassermann productions: old analog synthesizers combined with today's production techniques. And some SY-300 guitar synth.
