- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku110)”

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram

Gary Clarke joined a social media platform to raise awareness about an infrastructure issue in his local area by creating a website at Whaligoe Eye in August, 2021. During this time, he stumbled across a poetry and writing community which provided support and encouragement for his creativity.
Living right on the coastline in the Highlands of Scotland provides Gary with plenty of inspiration for his poetic endeavours, and through moments of sunrise and sunset gracing the North Sea it proves to be a motivational muse.

Happy to be back to contributing for the Disquiet Junto. This must be one of my favourite recurring Junto projects as it's so inspiring and fun. 

About my process: After a first attempt that didn't quite work, I found a good setting on my Pladask Elektrisk Fabrikat -- one that leaves lots of space for the next person to add stuff in -- and improvised what you're hearing here, off the top off my head. I love how the pedal introduces "holes" in the incoming guitar signal, reminds me a bit of William Basinski's "Disintegrating Loops". All of this recorded in Cubase, adding a pinch of reverb & delay.

I hope this inspires some of you to add their second part to it!
