Goals and Ambitions;
I knew as a teenager around fourteen I had to learn how to play the guitar when my uncle Larry introduced me to the greats of country music. Merle Haggard, Waylon, Cash, Willy, George Strait, Jones, Keith Whitley and of course the list goes on. So Uncle Larry did just that. He helped me pick up my first guitar in a little Mom and Pop pawn shop in Temple City California for fifty bucks. Let’s just say my fingers had seen better days. I played that old Yamaha until they bled.
It would be about two years later, I discovered putting my feelings on paper and to music and three guitar chords I only knew at that time, yes three chords and the truth ( Harland Howard). Learning to write and organize words and rhyme, felt good, it felt right and the ladies like it too! Thirty plus years later, here I am still working on and perfecting my craft.
