The Legend Of Zelda 'Overworld' For Orchestra

MeowMeow & BowWow is the second EP in the series of video game tribute albums by Dj CUTMAN and Spamtron. Their first collaboration was Bagu and the Riverman, which later became the seed for The Triforce of Bass. Now, the duo has turned their focus to the classic title for Nintendo Gameboy, Link's Awakening. 

Dj CUTMAN writes: 
We selected seven songs that represented the significant steps in Link's journey, from awakening on the mysterious island of Koholint, to rediscovering his legendary weapon, traversing the country side, traveling through forests and dungeons, and climbing a mountain to meet the fabled Wind Fish. 

If you're familiar with the game, you'll take extra pleasure in listening to the album in-sequence. If you didn't play Link's Awakening, I hope you can still derive the sense of adventure and excitement the game created for me.

The Legend of Zelda - Gerudo Valley 80's Version

Here's a fun spoopy witch song, Happy Halloween! Always thought this was an underrated track, and it matches the time of year perfectly. This was also one of the more memorable boss fights for me, using one of the coolest items in the game: the mirror shield. I loved the fire/ice theme and when they fused it was like "oh shit, here we go again". This is also the same song as the "Magic Hags' Potion Shop" from Majora's Mask :)

Award-nominee composer Rozen (www.rozen.audio) and singer/songwriter Jose Madrid (www.facebook.com/josemadridmusic), the duo decided to explore the legendary game by Nintendo through the eyes of the silent hero, Link. 

“Saria’s Elegy”, written by Jose Madrid and arranged by Rozen, is a song that explores the thoughts of a recently unfrozen Hero of Time, who's discovered the truth about his age, and rushes back to the woods in order to find the one special to his heart. Will she remember him after all this years? 

Inspired by “Saria’s Song” by Koji Kondo, “Saria’s Elegy” invites the listener to embark on a more personal journey through the voice and deep songwriting of Jose Madrid, and the lustrous orchestral arrangements of Rozen.

Back then a mean kid came here and played a strange song. It messed up this windmill. And my life!

Song Of Storms: Love Goes Around (Orchestral)

This is completly new Zelda Theme Music written by me for all the Zelda fans out there. Featuring all new never heard before melodies for the Legend of Zelda Series, my favorite game series of all time !...

0:01 starts with the main melody from "Ballad of The Goddess" the Main Theme of Skyward Sword

at 0:15 that same melody transforms into "Zelda's Lullaby" which is "Ballad of The Goddess" played backwards.

Both melodies are being played in a new key and feature alternate background harmonies and are played in 4/4 measure instead of the usual 3/4 giving them a very different feel.

0:30 onwards the "Call Of The Legendary Land" Theme starts building up and fully emerges at 0:45.

All you hear from 0:30 on is self composed, each melody is new untill the very end of the song.

Think of it like a mirrored (alternate / spirit world) version of the original Zelda Theme. This song is meant as an addon and expansion and not as a replacement of the original theme.


This is my personal The Legend Zelda 25th Anniversary Tribute for the creators and the fans of this fantastic series. Zelda has been around since the day i was born and was and will always be very important to me.

It took me 2 Years studying how to compose and write music similar to Nintendo, Disney & Studio Ghibli and 6 Years learning Computer Orchestration to make the Notes and Instruments sound the way they do.

It was alot of hard work and i'm very happy to share this with the world.
I hope that you will enjoy this small piece music that i hold dearly to my heart!
