Last Light

Echoes Beyond the Horizon is a journey told through sound — a passage across a single day by the sea. From the first light of dawn spilling over the horizon, to the warmth and joy of the shore, through the power of a stormy ocean, and finally into the calm embrace of twilight, each movement carries the listener deeper into the timeless rhythm of nature’s tides.

Part I: Dance of the Horizon
The journey begins with gentle guitars and airy melodies, as if standing at the edge of the world, watching the sun rise over the horizon. The music sets a hopeful tone, inviting the listener to step forward into the adventure.

Part II: Whisper of the Shore
The scene shifts to a lively beach, where the rhythm of marimbas and playful flutes mingle with the sound of waves and distant gulls. Sunlight glistens on the water as the coast comes alive with energy and joy.

Part III: Storm and Surge
Dark clouds gather as the sea swells. Rolling drums, soaring guitars, and sweeping strings capture the drama of a storm breaking across the ocean. Thunder roars, the wind howls, and the music surges with power and intensity before easing.

Part IV: Tide of Tranquility
The storm subsides, giving way to calm waters under a quiet sky. Gentle guitars and soft flutes return, guiding the listener back to peace. The ocean breathes steadily, carrying the story to a serene and timeless close.

This adventure was inspired by Mike Oldfield and was created using both Suno and ChatGPT

Echoes Beyond the Horizon

Aussie swagger turned up to eleven — this track is all mullet, muscle, and mischief. From backyard barbies to footy finals, it's a celebration of local legends and tall tales, this is the sound of the suburbs turned anthem.

Turn it up, crack a cold one, and let the rhythm strut like it owns the servo.

(A cheeky ode to Aussie overconfidence, swagger, and sausage-sizzle self-belief)

I voted yes to the Australian Voice Referendum and was surprised, yes shocked, when it didn't go through.  And as a descendant of Settler Australians I was ashamed.  But to make progress with all this sad and sorry colonial baggage, I think you have to deal with it as we are ALL HERE NOW, and the sins of the father are not those of the son.  Maybe one day...
