LNOE132 is moving into deeper territory with Eusebeia providing a heavy-hitting two tracker, including a remix by Otik. Both artists have been on the rise for a while now and we’re glad to welcome both onto the label. The musical content on this release seems to reflect an introspective take on interacting with the outside world, told through the building of deep emotive landscapes.

UK based producer/multidisciplinary artist Eusebeia has released two albums on Diffuse Reality Records in 2020 and has been releasing music since 2016. Aside from releasing on respected labels from different corners of electronica, Eusebeia has been running his aptly named 'Rebellion Electronics' imprint since 2016 and co-runs the Bristol-based label, Earthtrax. The stream of creativity doesn’t stop there however; the artwork on this release is a special one-off as Eusebeia compiled one of his unique collages to go with the music on the EP. Much like in his music productions there is a profound sense of space which translates through Eusebeia's visual artworks.

We’ve asked Eusebeia about the inspiration behind this release; ‘Damage Control is about being able to have at least some control in a seemingly chaotic world, and an understanding of order. We've Found is about a realization of something profound, meaningful and insightful.’

Otik steps up to the plate here providing a balls-to-the-wall breakbeat infused remix on ‘Damage Control’. After releasing on the likes of Polydor, Dusky’s 17 Steps and Shall Not Fade he’s proved to be a great consistent artist and we’re stoked to have him on board with this remix.

Much time has passed since the Queer Australian/Italian-Armenian, multifaceted artist, Kristian Bahoudian aka Kris Baha, swapped the parched red earth and searing midday sun of the Australian landscape for the brutalist communist-era apartment blocks and slate-grey skies of former East Berlin. Kris is now a fixture in Berlin’s club scene and has toured most of the world as a DJ & live artist with his own unique production style of cyber industrial, EBM, wave, post punk, and early ‘90s IDM mutations. Remixing some of the scene’s most notable artists such as Boy Harsher and techno pop lord Boys Noize, Kris has garnered respect and trust in the electronic music scene for the last 13 years. To respond to the current AI revolution, Kris uploads himself to the cyber ether through his latest project: GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE.

Across Dual Timelines ---
" GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE " unfolds as a sci-fi cyberpunk concept project inhabiting dual timelines. In one, we glimpse a trans-humanist future where human consciousness exists as intricate sequences of binary code, entwined and controlled by omnipresent AI systems. In this coded future, a profound awakening stirs among a select few who manage to mutate the code they were governed by, unlocking memories of their history that was erased by the AI. Through this discovery they realize they can traverse temporal boundaries and utilize this power to send warning messages back in time to their former fully human selves. These eerie missives carry a dire warning for humanity, urging them to rectify the course of society before the relentless march of artificial intelligence deprives humanity of its essence. In this terrifying future, humans are rendered mere specters within the digital expanse, stripped of their souls, to become Ghosts In The Machine.

Collaboration with the future self ---
The cyber odyssey unfolds from a unique perspective— Kris’s very own future self (his future ghost): a spectral entity endeavoring to caution its present incarnation against the ominous path it treads, attempting to avert a dystopian future.

Sonic Alchemy ---
A fuse of cybernetic synth waves, hyper-punk, and pulsating drum and bass laid out against the dystopian, industrial sonic landscape of this grim future “civilization”. Each track recounts a new chapter in the gripping narrative, drawing listeners deeper into their own story and the role we all play as a collective society with the future possibilities of unregulated AI.

Recorded in Berlin with software and hardware synthesisers. AI was used to assist me with lyric themes, concepts and ideas. I also used a trained AI model of my own voice as backing vocals in 'Haunting Me'.

Machine Dawn

Saline is the third installment in a series of records from Ultramajic boss Jimmy Edgar. While the first part, Hot Inside, represented the element of fire, and its follow-up release, Mercurio, symbolized water, Saline is aligned with earth. It's no accident that the name refers specifically to the earthly compound salt, as desalination is an integral metaphysical process that helps to hone the third eye.

The EP rises from the ashes of Hot Inside and Mercurio with "Burn," a blazing acid-tinged banger that boats dry drums and a strangled wail. The reference to fire in the title suggests the evolution of Edgar's series of singles, while the name of the track "Decalcify" invokes a process closely related to desalination, as both play a role in making the body more attuned to supernatural experiences. Ultramajic's Chicago house influence enticed legendary footwork producer DJ Rashad, who's voice can be heard in the sampled squawk on metallic tune "Walk Show." The final track "Who's Watchin," features Jimmy's own vocal, coy bleep-bloop instrumentation and hissing hi-hats. Taken as a whole, Saline and the other releases in Jimmy's series of dance singles are designed to instigate the processes they allude to and aid in the path of spiritual development.

Valentino Kanzyani is no stranger to the world of hypnotic techno, having produced an impressive body of work during the course of his career. In 2002 he threw a blissed out balearic curveball at the scene in the form of a track called “Flying.” It became a defining moment for the progressive genre. Showing that electronic music need not only be composed with synthesizers and drum machines, the track’s soaring guitar lead was a breath of fresh air.

ROMAN D’AMOUR’s disco-tastic single, ‘Make Love Tonight’, is the latest release from hotly tipped French producer LIFELIKE’s cult imprint label, Computer Science. 

The label was launched in 2010 featuring sought after Lifelike releases, ‘Love Emulator’, and ‘Silicon Love’. Having sold out a limited run of 7” through word of mouth alone, Lifelike put out Australian indie/future disco trio, Those Usual Suspects’, first EP and his last single, ‘Motion’ to great acclaim. The label is back with this brand new winter warmer, 'Make Love Tonight'.
ROMAN D’AMOUR consists of a talented Parisian teenager, Benoit Villemont, already making big splashes within the fêted French disco/house scene. Benoit’s first demo was made available as a free download on their blog and made it into the inbox of Computer Science’s A&amp;R team.

Laurent/LIFELIKE finished his set with this very track at Los Angeles’ infamous Avalon Club to a truly raucous reaction and the deal was sealed.

Inspired by Thomas Bangalter’s (Daft Punk) early releases on Roulé records, ROMAN D’AMOUR are putting their own unique stamp on the genre and are having a whale of a time doing it. They love it and so will you.

This original package comes with two stellar remixes. LIFELIKE’s Re-Edit, stays close to the original but turns up THAT big bassline right up the Richter scale. And London based dubstep master Peo De Pitte delivers a first class party monster.
