However, hope is the expectation of good in our future, not based on optimism or the likelihood of present indicators but based on God. Join us beginning on January 28th as we begin a new series called “The Gospel Primer”. Many of us long to see more of Jesus Christ transforming our identity and reshaping the very rhythms of our life. This transformation doesn’t happen on our own; it happens best in community. For eight weeks, we will be gathering in small communities to dialogue about the life-changing good news of Jesus. It is about becoming so familiar with the gospel that it flows out of your life and words in normal—yet extraordinary—ways. When the gospel increasingly informs our lives, perspectives, and priorities, we become living proclamations of God and His kingdom. And that is Good News!

Advent Series "Immanuel: God with Us" this December
The greatest display of God’s love was his coming to be with us, to identify with us, and to save us by entering his created world through birth in the person of Jesus. Everything changes when we know that God is with us: we can face trials, hardships and impossibilities with hope; we don’t have to be afraid of the unknown; we can have courage in the present and hope for our future. Join us this advent season as we retell and celebrate the stories around Jesus’ birth that reinforce that beautiful truth that God is with us!

God inspired the prophet Jeremiah to tell us what deep roots look like: "They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8). In this season, we are sensing God's invitation to turn from our shallow root systems and be deeply rooted in Him. Join us this Sunday as we hear from the Lord on how to do this.
