This song's basically just a recognition of our forgetfulness as people. We forget so many things, whether it be what we ate or something maybe incredibly nostalgic, but we don't forget this: the people who were there and the people who are there. Basically, the title is ironic, coz while it's called "I'll Soon Forget", it's pretty much a song saying "I won't forget you". It's a song to celebrate those who you love and maybe take you back to a time of others that you loved.
