Mpho Khumalo, professionally posed as Antidote East,  is a South African born music artist and songwriter. Antidote East was born in Mpumalanga [Carolina] and went on to reside Embalenhle till his grade five [2014] only to move to the Eastrand of Johannesburg [Tsakane] were he's been residing since. "I started recording music in 2018 right after quitting soccer, I've always had the bounce in me but I never had the right platform to acknowledge, polish and present my music skills.

In 2021, on his birth month [April], Antidote released a three track EP [prelude] followed by a Mixtape that made him see a bit of light with his career titled 'HOPE', which is available on all music streaming platforms.
