The LOVE EP was created in a time of personal distress and inharmony. This lead to a healing phase where music played a big roll and was used as medicine for (re)creation and overcoming attachments.

Sound Transitions is proud to present a masterfully produced EP from Overkissed. Comprised of two originals and three remixes, Overkissed's Foolish EP is a whirlwind of skittering rhythms, delicate pads, catchy hooks, and plenty of emotion. Overkissed takes a simple vocal sample and puts it front and center for the heavy duty house workout that is "Foolin' Me." With "Foolin' U" he builds a world of interlocking drums, swirling vocals snippets, growling bass, and emotive synthwork. Rounding out the EP are three interpretations of "Foolin' Me" from Selfhood, Max Ulis, and Gloved Hands that all pull the original into strange, compelling new territories with Electro, Breaks and Leftfield House all under one release. Premiere: Overkissed - Foolin Me (Gloved Hands Remix)

The 190th entry to the Local Selection Mix Series welcomes Cavan native, Phacade. Now Dublin-based, the exciting DJ and music producer has marked his entry into the series by means of providing us with a solid workout that encompasses a variety of breakbeat and electro sounds throughout.

Our latest entry to the Local Selection Mix Series is Phacade. The skilled musician has supplied us with a pacey recording that features an abundance of breaks alongside some choppy, playful vocals for the duration of the mix. 

Having previously featured on Project Radio last year as well as performing at LOST and Hidden Love parties, Phacade released some impressive tracks on Filth Inc and on his own Soundcloud in the process. Notably, his musical inspirations can clearly be heard throughout his productions.

This ranges from Steel City Dance Discs mainstays Mall Grab and Skin On Skin to more sinister electro and breaky vocals that usually are associated with various grime and rap artists. Phacade's sound can be ultimately described as high-octane, energetic, and bass-heavy.
