I tried to use a sprite for the thumbnail but SC ended up distorting it so here's VS with the old background.

I tried using the main melody from Dating Tense! for this, but it never sounded good. So I just used the background melodies and chords from it.
The idea for this motif choice was mostly inspired by Tonyswap, where the Unnecessary Tension replacement uses a motif related to the Napstablook replacement. But also by how they share the tension element.

Red, from the show Larva, takes the role of Flowey. He seems strangely content with being ripped from his homeworld, and seems to have a strange attachment to Zeno himself. What could this gross abominable creature be up to now?

"Larva" might be the single worst thing to come out of Korea.
Therefore, it's pretty understandable that it was a show that Zeno despised with a passion. But as was customary for our friend group growing up, his hatred for it made us all want to torture him with it. So that was one of our many, many running jokes. Torturing Zeno with Larva. It was a grand old romp. We had fun messing with each other like that. It wasn't the core of our friendship by any means, just part of the fun.
Let's make one thing clear though: he was absolutely justified. The show is AWFUL.

This comes from a radio near certain save points across the Underground. The motif is technically original, though it was made to answer the question "what if Ghouliday's real melody wasn't Jingle Bells?" So interpret that however you want.

Another Medium for a self-insert. Don't see that too often, eh?
As some of you might know, Schreibertale gets its name from Schreiber High School, where the cast and I got our high school educations. The school itself takes the role of Hotland, and that's what this theme is for. Honestly, this piece of music is now probably one of the best things about the school lol. I really like how Toadie handled this one, and I've been excited for it for quite a while now.
The name is a play on it being a high school, but also on the high pothead population.
