this track was a bit hard to cover, i don't think i've done a proper AU cover since that horrid "Bullet Hell" remix... hopefully this is better than that!

Like with a lot of my covers, I transcribed the base version first. The pitch bends on the lead were a PAIN IN THE NECK to recreate in Mixcraft, but I managed to get them sounding decent enough.
Fleshing it out was a fairly simple, yet rewarding experience! For those of you who might not already know, I've been a fan of Thomas The Tank Engine since I was a little kid. And when I saw this post from The Caledonian Engines (https://twitter.com/RealCaledonian/status/1442612689797189632,) I just couldn't resist the motivation, no matter how dumb of a reason it was hueh. So I wound up turning this into something reminiscent of a music piece from season 6 or 7 of that show.
Incredibly happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy!

I originally intended for this to be in the style of S6-7 of Thomas The Tank Engine again, like with Dialtone, but I quickly realized that wouldn't work due to the lack of percussion (since percussion is such a key part and this track would've just felt empty in comparison to the original without it.) So I used some RX-5 samples for the beat, and let myself go wild from there; rly damn happy with the piano part I added in particular. (And ye, I did the funni Spamton vocals here as well lol.)
All in all, this was a ton of fun to make, and I hope you guys enjoy!

First of all, thank you so much for 1000 followers here on SoundCloud! I'm genuinely kinda surprised I've managed to grow this far in a year's time, but hey I ain't complaining. Glad you all like my stuff enough to stick around!

Anyhow yeah, this cover was a ton of fun to do! The new chords were a pain to figure out, but was well worth the effort in the end. Stuck with the same general style of my previous two Spamton-related covers, yet I wound up using a couple Proteus 2000 instruments that I've never used before, as well as a **soundfont player** I've never used before (Jeksola X-1) on the brief English horn parts.
Based this on my Spamton cover (for kinda obvious reasons,) and I'm rly happy with how this turned out. Hope you guys enjoy!!

At long last, here's the finale to the Spamton quadrilogy months in the making! I'll admit tho: I did this part of things in just past the few days. Found out I was positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, and aside from feeling like garbage, this is part of what I've been doing to kill time lmao. Things were pretty crazy to figure out in several places, especially the mixing (and relatedly, getting a good balance between master volume and master limiter adjustments to get the sound I wanted.)
While this obviously doesn't have the same Thomas-y vibe as my other Spamton tracks, I set myself the challenge of using ONLY instruments from libraries related to that show. And aside from the piano, I more or less succeeded! I used patches from the Proteus 1 + 2 + 2000, E-MU Emulator II, Yamaha RX-5 and Virtuoso. 
Thanks to Wabble (https://soundcloud.com/wabble-deen) for their feedback during the development of this cover, it rly helped shape things for the better! Also BIG shoutout to Adamant and their "How to Recreate BIG SHOT" series (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbmwdKG1lFwGXQ5xqLosFpspxieovS_wG.) I used it as a reference for multiple difficult things that were tripping me up, and this cover just wouldn't be anywhere **near** as good without this resource's existence.
