Images enshroud with vague and seem to recall something. In certain occasions, in this organic life, in exhibits presented for the blind there are together serenity and anxiety, craving for shattered and for holistic, attraction to warm and avoiding of cold. In all of this, there is something in common, something throbbing, something that comes from the ultimate understanding of stunned mind.

Memories, past or subsequent, are yours and others’ at the same time. What actually goes after what? The first image is connected with the last, even if you throw out all the other.

Existence generates a sequence of every fragment and its infinitely versatile connection with everything.

Earlier this year we released a Free Samplepack by Flint Kids that accompanied his “Sancerre” EP.

Followed by a great deal of positive feedback, we decided to hold a contest: entrants were to simply make a track from the sounds in the pack + a handful of their own, but no more. Best tracks were to be released on a compilation but we received so many high quality tracks that we had no other choice but to make two compilations.

The result of this experiment are these two V/A’s entitled Field Emitter (18 tracks) & Antibody (10 tracks).

Insect Life Cycles is Troxellemott’s debut EP. It will guide you through the process of holometabolous development of an insect, a track for each stage.

The music makes you feel the rustle of insect wings, taking away your human skin. Forms are crashed by the narrative, narrative breaks up by forms. Within the tracks architecture you can hear flinging and hesitations in the flow of natural processes. Track by track you’re invited to explore your personality antipodes and face your fears, as for ex. the artist’s primeval centipedes phobia.

When these cycles and this linear march entwine and lose any semblance of mutual control, their inexorable trajectory is towards rupture. Emergent cycles of higher complexity and abstracted alienness to those of us subjected to them exacerbate the very dynamic from which they were borne, but offer the only way out: fracture.

This album was written over a two-year period with a great amount of effort and psychological experiences, inner turmoil – I understood that I was falling into an abyss with no bottom… no bottom…

“Replika” offers many doors to other dimensions, to other universes, and to other worlds. This is the starting point of an endless journey through the secrets of the universe, where each track is a separate journey through different worlds.

This album was recorded using analog and digital synthesis with instruments such as KORG PROPHESY, KORG M3, and KORG-Z1.
