Beautiful Tango is pure nostalgia. The audience feels like they are in Paris in the 1930s but at the same time the song has elements of an uplifting dance track. Furthermore, there is a personal story behind this remix, which I am happy to share with you:

When I started producing music back when I was 15, one of my first projects was a remix of Hindi Zahra's legendary indie hit "Stand Up". The song can be found on Soundcloud (linked below).  It was a great honor to receive a positive feedback from Hindi herself, but unfortunately it never got released because I couldn't get in touch with her publisher. However her other acoustic song "Beautiful Tango" also caught my attention back then, nonetheless my production skills were not as adept as they are today. Since Hindi Zahra did not record the track to a metronome, the big difficulty was to synchronise everything to one tempo and still keep the organic sound of the original recording.

This remix was a great pleasure for me. I can also say for the first time ever that I am proud of my own mix and master after getting feedback from some industry professionals.

The incredible artwork for this piece was done by our talented artist Sang Tam Lang.

Numa is an electronic music producer and DJ from Basel, Switzerland. He discovered his passion for creating music at a young age, and soon after released his first tracks.

His debut single Always You (2020) went viral at a time when many people needed hope and courage more than ever. It was released on his own label, Numa 将来 (Shourai) Productions.

In 2021, he moved to Berlin to study sound engineering and further develop as an artist. During this time, he gained his first DJ experience within the Berlin club scene.

Now again based in Switzerland, Numa focuses on creating honest, emotional electronic music — often in collaboration with vocalists. His work is rooted in storytelling and aims to move people in a way that feels real and timeless.
