I am limiting whatever talent/skill/future I have by trying to fight failure. I need to be honest. I won’t be good for a long time. But as a student of the arts & music, how I might fit into those realms, and my love/respect for my future self, I’d be damned if I ever allowed him to look back and think “I wish I-…” or “What if I…”.
