Erkan Erdem is highly acclaimed film editor based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Worked for feature films such as The Breath and Between Family and series such as Man On Pause and 
10K Steps for streaming services in his over 20 years career. He also edited hundreds of commercial movies for major brands and top agencies. 

Now it’s time for him to translate 
his editing experience to music, 
to his first love.

‘Sonic Blues’ is his first musical project and ‘The One’ is his first EP. 
All songs created, arranged and mixed by himself on his home studio. He played and recorded electric, acoustic and bass guitars himself and used very rich sound palette for this 4 tracks. 
He put different kinds of musical elements together in his compositions and blended them. Guitar solos, piano and string parts, rhythmic ethnic vocals, synthesizer sequences in one mix. 

His style promises a cinematic and unpredictable listening experience without being experimental. Erkan named this Sonic Blues.
