This is a compilation of 16 UK 7" singles recorded between 1978 and 1982, compiled by JD Twitch, that showcases the DIY spirit of those times. 

"If Punk was the nuclear detonation, the fallout that came after was where a lot of the most interesting music of that era was made. People who would never have thought to release a record before realised it was something they could do, and the end result was a DIY explosion. I've always loved music that doesn't try to fit in a particular genre, that is anti-canonical and doesn't care what else is going on in music at that time, that takes risks and is full of imagination and ideas that may or may not make any logical sense but that resulted in something unique, that ignores conventions about how a record SHOULD be produced and that was created simply because its creators felt the urge to express themselves and share the results with some other people. This compilation compiles 16 tracks that fulfil all those criteria. None of them had any success, most are (unjustly) obscure but every one of them has inspired me and would be in my ultimate 7" singles box." – JD Twitch.

This release has been a real labour of love involving tracing long-lost artists to far-flung corners of the globe, persuading them that the modern world needs to hear the music they made several decades ago, tracking down lost masters, lovingly restoring 7"s in the case of those where the masters were lost and then conceiving an elaborate package with detailed sleeve notes to house the double album package.

*NOTE - Due to legal problems with the original title a new version of the sleeve has had to be designed and manufactured. We still hope to make the original packaging available in a modified form but in the meantime this will be released in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves containing all the info and notes from the original.

The original 2 x LP vinyl edition was to come in a super deluxe package combining a double-sided black and white four x 12" panel sleeve, hand-folded into an LP sleeve with a colour insert containing colour photos of all the sleeves all inserted in a bespoke pvc wallet. The four x 12" panel sleeve contains sleeve notes and detailed overviews of each individual track by JD Twitch, and an introduction by New York's DIY expert Dan Selzer. Due to the huge amount of work involved putting the sleeve together, it would only ever exist in an edition of 500 copies.

A solo Project from Mexico City founded by Fernando Vaugier, with principal influences in the Post-Punk, ColdWave, electronic sounds and an extensive quantity of genres adapted to the expression of a dark and cold sound,  with the typical characteristic of sudden changes of sound from one track to another, Mementut takes the visualization of the politics as a subject matter, the wars and the religion in the mind of a human being with mental illnesses and / or psychological damages, an attachment to topics related to conditions like autism, sociopathy, psychopaty and the bipolarity, the love/hate towards the God's darkness,  the unstable meditation to reach the peace in a place without light or hope, the one that only the doomed individuals can perceive in their emotions, Mementut is a word of created by a combination between the words "Memento" (I remember - in Latin) and "Tot" (dead - in German) taking "Mímentut" as a pronunciation for spanish, slightly similarly referring the phrase "Memory of something dead " used as the first idea for his creator to refer to the last recollection or image that a person can have of before dying  in a former life, and like a second attempt to name that shaded emotion that only the lost souls can feel, the part "tut" (Tot) also takes as a reference the name of the Egyptian God, a relation and similarity exists also in certain ideologies with the term(end) "shade" used in the psychology and in turn polysemic in an adjective to mention a person with many strength after cruel feelings and experiences, being able to exist multiple examples as adjective in a phrase but the major one being able to be:
" You are Mementut,  you resist in front of  the fury of God "

''Tu eres Mementut, tu resistes ante la furia de Dios''

Pussy Mothers is the behaviour of a cross continental two piece from Scotland and Down Under: formed by waving not drowning.

Murray CY from Glasgow runs the Contort Yourself imprint thus far over the last three years he's been releasing compilation 12 inches bridging the gap between the old and the new with records featuring artists like Die Form, Broken English Club, Beau Wanzer, Pankow, Esplendor Geometrico, and Enrique to name a few. Digging up old private press tapes from the 80s, Murray has also gone on to be quite a prolific re-editor, chopping and eqing cuts and making them dj friendly in the most old school sense of the word (you won't catch any flashy additional insturmentation here folks), some of his work which can be heard on a recent lp comp here https://www.discogs.com/Various-Murray-CY-edits/release/8657427

There were a couple of films that gave me a starting point for this one, both starring Matt Damon.  The first was ‘Good Will Hunting’ where, during an interview, an answer is given about how one decision can multiply in terms of its consequences.  The second was ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ and the idea of ripples occurring as someone doesn’t follow their predicted plan.

Taking the above, I tried to think about someone reflecting on something that they’d done, such as telling a ‘white’ lie and the impact of this.  I like the idea that the ‘ripple’ might not be immediate, but gather momentum as time passes.  The fact that the person that the song is centred on has a level of insight proves to be a mixed blessing.  They end up altering their approach to life but have to live with the knowledge of the chaos unleashed through their action.

En mayo del 2010 en la ciudad de Córdoba Fernando Balestro invitó a Ditta Perdita de Beata, a cantar en su proyecto personal Nebeldots así empezaron a experimentar y combinar sus influencias del industrial, ebm y electroclash; de esto resultaron estructuras electrónicas/industriales con la particularidad del formato canción, de este modo surgió Rosa Krüger con Fernando en bases, teclados y coros y Ditta en letras, voz y teclados.
A partir de Agosto se presentaron en las ciudades de Córdoba, Buenos Aires y Formosa.
El 21 de septiembre del 2011 lanzaron su primer álbum en formato tarjeta usb, Orquídea, bajo el sello Tacuara Art&Media, el mismo contiene tres tracks propios, una versión de Nuclear sí de Aviador Dro, más tres remixes de distintos artistas internacionales convocados por el sello.

Neophyte, for sure, and these are all my newly found treasures, that I have dug up from around the world.  One day I will produce some tracks again, until then, I will spend every minute listening to all the newly found gems!
