This one was quite a b*tch. Too loud, too long, too bassy, too crisp, too everything. I'm not entirely sure I got the right balance, but for now it'll have to do. 

With 1:44 min this is the longest song of the show. Ok, two repeats, but that's how it was presented in the episode 'Disaster'.

At first I wanted to present this song in it's original length, as it was released on the doll tapes. But it was just too long and too repetitive, so I shortened it a little.

I've never guessed this song was so hard to remaster. All sources for the instrumental weren't very good to put it nicely. Too damp, too echoey, lots of replacement needed. Took me a week to get this clean version done.

The Misfits - Congratulations (Kai Woodland Mix)

It's always a surprise separating tracks, sometimes treasures are hidden in the complete mix. This one had the backup singers in the instrumental, giving this new mix a mastertape feeling. 

Jem & The Holograms - I Got My Eye On You (Kai Woodland Mix)

The instrumental from the masters somehow had variable speed, so aligning this with the voicetrack was real fun. Some parts in the voicetrack have been replaced with the DAT version of the song. Quite a patchwork, but I hope it won't show.

Jem & The Holograms - Who Is He Kissing? (Kai Woodland Mastertape Mix)

Too many sources, none of them really perfect. I mixed together what I think sounded best. Hope you all like ;)

The Misfits - Universal Appeal (Kai Woodland Mix)

As stupid as the lyrics of the song may be, it has a great dynamic, and it was the first duell/duets between both bands. And as Jem so perfectly sings, one little 'Click' can change your life forever.

The Misfits - Winning Is Everything (Kai Woodland Mastertape Mix)

So this version is entirely from the show, but without any sound effects. I guess they've recorded multiple master tracks back then, or maybe the sound effects got lost in some prior mix for the show. Personally I like both versions.

The Misfits - Makin' Mischief (Kai Woodland HQ Mix)

I think this version could be a Jem premiere on Soundcloud. 
I somehow managed to isolate the voicetrack and align it with the master tape instrumental, creating a version never heard before. I don't exactly know how I did it, but the result sounds fine and it's without those anoying fire sound effects. Sometimes you just shouldn't ask how it's done, but enjoy the finished product. :)
