I made a program that converts text into audio using simple additive synthesis.  It's a quick way to add hidden messages into music, without having to convert them into images first.  Anyone's welcome to use it.  https://github.com/ZoeB/steg

i always had the idea of an organ that controlled a turntable, keys would control playback speed of the record and controls could mix channels add effects etc

mainly had an idea of a cheaper form of the cirklon sequencer but with a few more bells and whistles compared to the original , instead of just having A & B for live CV control parameters there would be a full row of 16 that sits above the already existing 16 knobs for other controls in the menus. You could use these for anything like microtonal tuning shifts and whatnot. ofcourse with that It'd incorporate a bigger screen that would sorta include note editing like the hapax and etc. lastly, maybe a more capable CPU and graphics processor to handle the GUI and obviously extra CV parameters ontop of the already existing ones.

There is an app called Seaquence where you can make your own sequences and stuff, I had the thought of making a keyboard and putting the software on that keyboard

Made by splashing water creating ripples in a pan whilst shining a bright light onto it and directly receiving the resulting audio frequency domain modulated reflected light some distance away with a photo sensor as sound.  The resulting raw audio was overdubbed 4 times at different points into the recording and various pan positions to create a pseudo-stereo effect. More sound from light recordings here:

This is a place to share hardware and software inventions, I was going to publish a book of my own but im going to start slowly putting them up here instead, it's too much work hassling people to do these things, so putting them here will hopefully reach the right people. Will start with the more simple ideas first.
