J-Mama theartist is a artist born in the late 80's. Originally from North Carolina and was raised in Kansas city Missouri, she started writing music at the age of 18 and recorded her first track Hold you down with her brother J-swagg. At the age of 19 , she started receiving attention after dropping her first self titled mixtape in 2011. She also gained her fan base from doing live rap videos on social media , performing at many local events which landed her a opportunity to open up for TRINA in 2014. Her style is bossy, aggressive, and sometimes goofy , her lyrics focus on real life events from growing up , but she also be silly and very free spirited. Along with the inspiration from her father and brother, she also  grew up listening to lil Kim, Foxy brown , Trina, Lauryn hill, Eve, and Aaliyah, which musically inspired her to pursue her music Career. She has performed in Omaha opening up for NO LIMIT RECORDS, her song Pull scener was in rotation on 103.3 underground heat for 6 months straight and made top 100 at the end of 2012  , In 2017 she released her mixtape VERSES & FLOW which was released on all major platforms. She has been doing music a lil over a decade , has released 6 mixtapes, 1 album and 3 singles. As her skill as a songwriter keeps growing she continues to record and release new music and videos.
