FLY FISHING VOLUME 6 mixed by Jazz Spastiks

Child artists are nothing new, but with the recent death of Kris Kross's Chris Kelly, I decided to dig this little gem up.

 While the "Jump Jump" duo were at their height of amazingness, anther duo was bubbling at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. While the latter were definitely more family friendly, dropping rhymes about missing the school bus and having bad dreams, Illegal (the duo of Jamal and Malik) were gritty, spitting about the harsh realities of the ghetto lifestyle.

The duo actually went on to do some cool sh*t too ... Jamal releasing solo material and affiliating himself with the def squad, as Malik dropped a 16 on Snoop's legendary Doggystyle album. This record was always my fave from them as a duo though...here is the radio edit of Back In the Days, the video mix. This is important to note...the album version was MUCH different. Not as hype in my opinion.
