The Strawheads are singer song-writers from the dizzy flat lands of Cambridgeshire and were formerly founding members of 4 piece originals band The Sun Kings. Previously the duo cut their teeth on the covers-circuit back in the day and have since continued to write and record original material that's a blend of Country, Rock and Pop. Although influenced by American country, having been exposed to more bingo than banjo The Strawheads are consequently more Fentucky than Kentucky! Note: You are assured that no regional or stylistic accents are harmed in the creative process.

Their songwriting is inspired by the classic artists of a previous generation and motivated by brilliant contempories such as Lady Antebellum, Levi Hummon, Ed Sheran and Maren Morris. Their signature sound is one of close harmony duet vocals delivered by the unique blend of the gravel-voiced Graham Buxton and the honey-tonsiled vocal of Stephen Bottomley.
