Ra’Shad Smoove; born in the DC Metro area and graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, is a chameleon of the mic. This dynamic 30 year old is no stranger to making music that vibrates the airwaves as he does making heads bounce. At the age of 9, he developed an appreciation for making rhymes that manipulate beats. Inspired by Hip hops greats music became an outlet filled with his metaphoric style infused with his versatility. Consequently, his style earned him the name “Smoove” from his college friends.

His influences surge from several entities: God, family, life experiences, women, relationships and his continuous drive. His sound is dominant, layered with intricate detail from confidence to stimulating wordplay. Smoove has a quality of sound like a raging lighting strike, hitting the souls of his listeners with authentically pure hip hop.
This rising artist, currently resides in the Charlotte, NC and from the Washington DC metro area. He has presently put out a mixtape called “Before The Album”. With hits like the infamous single “Stuntin On My Ex”. He recently put out another single titled “Aaliyah” to honor her for her birthday. He has now finished a brand new EP titled “Thrill”.
