Traditional acoustic instruments are well integrated into the music. 
The instruments chase each other at high speed and head to head interplay. 
The rhythms are strong and fluid enough to stimulate the spine.

The group's music and performance is heavily influenced by West African music that is singing, drumming and dancing which is interlaced with some Western and Caribbean rhythms generated through various instruments to create a new ideal sound which we call 'bamboree jazz' that can capture global audiences. 
Our motivation and inspiration comes from the idea of employing relatively unknown musical instruments and the opportunity to project our African heritage through our own created sound' 'bamboree jazz'.

All performing members of the group are thirteen (13) seasoned performers and instructors in Ghana

Their considerable achievement is the maiden collection of music, which has a whole lifetime of experiences woven into it and is in many ways the tangible evidence of a goal achieved in spite of very difficult circumstances.

The group has become freewheeling alchemists of Afro Pop/ World Music genre.

The group has been performing together since 2008 on different platforms in Ghana and is ready to launch unto the African and the Global stage.

Some of their performances have been captured in the mainstream media in Ghana and notably among them are the Daily Graphic, and New Times and the Insight News papers among others. Other media include Net2 Television, TV Africa and Metro Television

TSOOBOI ENSEMBLE - MIYA

Early performance of the group was in February, when they participated in the 1st Annual Pan African Jazz festival at the W.E.B Dubois Memorial Center, Ghana. 
This was barely a year after formation but they were able to convince the program organizers of their virtuosity through a vigorous audition.

I am an "80/20 person" and my objective is to have a simpler but vastly more productive life that is easier, with plenty of time and no stress. Have a considerable freedom and confidence in life turning out well.This is about focusing my life on the vital most important payoffs and leaving out the trivial many.

I can simply be described as an ambitious young man looking for opportunities and challenges in his music career; Whose lifestyle philosophy strongly hinges on the 80/20 principle. Less is more!
