This is a moody piece of music. I wanted to capture my current feelings on a friend who passed, sort of a dedication. I also incorporated som of the other times in my life and theirs as well as times good and bad that have gone by. Relationships, addictions, troubles. I wanted to try and accomplish the mood only with guitars. Keyboards can delivery that mood easy, not so easy on guitar. A few 12 string tuned and detuned.

I pieced out clips of Nine Inch Nails, Fluke, and PieceWork beats to create the foundation for the mix. I couldn't completely turn it into an instrumental. What is an Ozzy song without Ozzy?

OZZY OSBOURNE - No More Tears (FINI Piece Mix)

I love Jimi Hendrix and I sometimes forget how freaking cool he was. He really invented modern rock guitar playing as far as I am concerned. I always loved Little Wing and recently in a dream this song was playing. I then decided to do my version of this classic. For guitar nuts, the first solo I used an ash strat rosewood neck. The 2nd guitar was a Strat FSR with mid range boost. The last solo was an Ibanez RG 25th Anniversay and you could totally tell it is not a Strat. Hope you like it.

little wing (Hendrix Cover)

This is a song written for the most beautiful season in my opinion. I really love everything about the fall. The colors, the cool crisp air, warm days cool nights, fires in the yard, apple cider, hot chocolate, the list goes on. I recently took pictures of the fall trees and a story rushed into my head and I realized that key moments in my life have taken place in the fall. I tried to make the music rich and full with minimal instruments but yet it sounds big. I also wanted the lyrics to mean many stories within one story. The song should be made for each listener and I hope it does just that.

Trees

I saw Pearl Jam a few weeks back in Hartford and they really knocked me out. This song in particular. This was the 2nd song of the night and I could have left after this and would have gotten my moneys worth. I am covering this not to attempt to be better but to show my mad respect for Eddie and pearl Jam. They spoke about Newtown and I do not think there was a dry eye in the house. I changed a few things, not many, kept it very close to theirs. Peace.

Wow the recent events unfolding with this crazy unstable world made me rewrite the lyrics five times. I tried though to make it so you can sense the happy, the hope, the sadness, the struggling yet not really tell it so much in exact words, I think you will get it.
