The inspiration behind Jimmys Dream traces back to a late 70s interview with Jim Morrison, the legendary frontman of The Doors. During the conversation, Morrison was asked about the future of music, and his prediction was spot-on: One man, a lot of machines and electronics. In this track, Zapta brings that vision to life by weaving together the signature elements of his sound. A gritty, heavy bassline pulses beneath Goa-inspired acid leads, all set against the backdrop of a twilight-infused atmosphere. Its a fresh chapter in musical history. Origin is the theme track of the new album. All of its sequencers have been recorded live from Nord Rack 2, SH101, Xobox & Virus C, I wanted to create a hook of a speech about abandoning desires and ego, connecting to our essence and achieving serenity by doing that, luckily I've found just what I was searching for and recorded it into the track, followed by a melodic riff to create the mystery, and bringing everything together with the right impact and without over-doing it. What came out is a mix of Trance, Techno, Goa & Acid and I’m stocked to share it with you.
