What's the point of even living when you're happy all the time
never capturing the feeling of a lost kiss..
You'll never know the euphoria you gather.. or the compliment
of suffering, the opposite of laughter..
The monument of joyful bliss..
perched upon the sword of inequity.. the memories of a small kid...
Who was tortured.. set aside to die
but fueled himself with the identity he memorized.

My depression is my only friend
It's known me from the beginning when I had no pens

to the pain that's crushing me til my soul bends...
So I guess I feel obligated to keep it..
an honest statement, I got to say it's a secret..
Who the fuck would even understand it?
that I love the madness? I love the glum of a sunken sadness
I'm a victim of my own self mutilation
And there's nothing that anybody can do to save him
