The Reverberation Appreciation Society is proud to announce the release of the fifth studio album from Ringo Deathstarr, entitled Pure Mood, out December 11 on vinyl and CD formats, and November 20 digitally. The album is being release by Club AC30 the UK and EU, and Vinyl Junkie in Japan and Asia.

The band eagerly anticipate the release of their next album; rightly so - pensive and pounding, ‘Pure Mood’ oozes all things dank, dark and dreamy. The 12 track LP, to be released in November, presents a vivid and searing collection of songs.

The aptly named opening track 'Dream Again' is sung by bassist Alex Gehring, whose delicate voice echoes eerily over the spectral, otherworldly chords that pluck underneath. 'Heavy Metal Suicide' & ‘Stare At The Sun’ contain the same cathartic droning that has been previously celebrated by genre forefathers, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Tracks like 'Never' and 'Boys In Heat' plunge the band and listener alike deep into the uncharted sonic depths of unadulterated, decadent sound. Elliott Frazer's vocals accentuate the eruption of noise behind his anthemic lyrics, dipping in and out of brief moments of clarity before bursting back into the manic grit of songs like 'Big Bopper' and 'Frisbee'. There's a daring clash of fury and fragility throughout 'Pure Mood' that demonstrates Ringo Deathstarr are not just reliving a scene, they're re-inventing it with their shattering use of chaotic guitars and haunting voices.

Plastic Flowers is a Dream Pop band from London, UK, formed in late 2011 by multi-instrumentalist George Samaras. He has recorded two full length studio albums Evergreen (2014) and Heavenly (2016).

After graduating from high school he experimented with drone sounds and worked closely with other musicians, including former band member Angelos Paschalidis. During his college years in Thessaloniki he begun recording under the name Plastic Flowers and quickly released a series of EP's and singles that received praise for their lo-fi feeling and warmth. The hazy atmosphere created with the heavy use of soft guitars and multilayered synth patterns are some of the main characteristics of Plastic Flowers' sound.

BBC described his music as "very ethereal soundscapes accompanied by warm vocals" while DIY Magazine labelled him as a "Greek wunderkind musician." After a prolonged period of writing and experimentation, his second full length album entitled "Heavenly" will be released April 22nd, 2016 through The Native Sound. Recordings took place between October and December 2015 in North West London.

Late To The Party

In 1997, Jeremy Wrenn formed a two-man shoegaze project called Airiel. Fast forward to 2012 and the band is four members strong, has toured nationally and internationally, released two singles, five EP's (including a box set), one full length album and tracks for multiple compilations. 

Recorded and produced by the band itself, Airiel has just finished Kid Games, a brand new four track EP for Shelflife. Bringing in many of the elements that formed Airiel's foundation, Andrew Marrah and Chase Johnson's drum machines and synths make a larger presence. This produced a new sound that keeps the elements that make Airiel great; catchy melodies, lush guitars, danceable rhythms and lasting dreaminess. "Kid Games" also marks the return of guest vocalist Stella Tran, who's first appearance was on "Firefly" from the Melted EP of the Winks & Kisses box set. 

Kid Games is released May 1st on limited edition 12" vinyl and digital formats.
