Juno Beach is the third release by Italian duo Snow In Mexico, and their most ambitious to date. Dreamy, washed out landscapes have been replaced by granular vibes that ebb and flow with the beat. Andrea Novelli and Massimiliano Cruciani craft visions of simulated paradise, blinding neon lights, and 80’s cyberpunk aesthetic with warm, vintage sounds of the legendary Roland Juno. Snow In Mexico constructs an EP that dips into the uncanny valley, blurring the line that separates analog shores from the vast digital ocean.

EXXASENS comes back to Earth after a eight-year space travel and 4 DiY albums, including the acclaimed ELEVEN MILES (Aloud Music LTD 2011) and SATELLITES (Aloud Music LTD 2013) and one compilation (2007-2014, Ricco Label, Japan). In this period, EXXASENS has evolved from a one-man solo project (Jordi Ruiz) to a fully-fledged band. 

Jordi Ruiz (guitars/programming), Sergio Ledesma (synths/keys), Cesc Cespedes (bass) and Oriol Planells (drums) have recorded the last EXXASENS’ album at Siete Barbas Studios (Barcelona). Containing 8 inspiring songs, BACK TO EARTH offers the band’s renewed vision of instrumental music which introduces choirs, stratospheric guitar solos, electronic groove and even a sung song. The first album single “My hands are planets” is now released with a new video which is the sequel of the remarkable "Rocket to the sky" from the previous album (currently with more than 50.000 visits online).

The powerful and rich multimedia live show delivered by EXXASENS has brought the band to play in some of the most important European stages such as Primavera Sound (Spain, 2015), Dunk! Fest (Belgium, 2014), ProgPower Europe (Netherlands, 2015) or Astral Fest (Russia, 2011, 2013).

EXXASENS’ new album, BACK TO EARTH, will be released in September 7th 2015 by Aloud Music Ltd in Europe, by Ricco Label in Asia (Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia), and by Rock-House in Russia. News about pre-order and editions will be revealed soon.

"Spleen" wants to communicate the sense of anxiety, anguish and alienation that is the result of modern life monotony. The music is characterized by heavily distorted dreaming guitars a strong rythmic section and almost-spoken vocals.

London based analogue enthusiasts Komati have announced that they're set to drop their 'Ghost Dancer' EP via Bad Life on January 29th.

A regular on UK label, the duo are known known for their modular based, techno enthused take on house, fractured acid and the grey area sound that lies in between. Their latest 2-track effort continues this work; offering up a pair of peak time floor fillers aimed squarely at the dance floor. Driven by an inescapable if subtle intensity, Komati's beats hint at a passion for more abstract strains of techno through their deft drum-programming without straying into 'experimental' territory.

With their inbound EP having already picked up heavy support from the likes of Shadow Child, Dusky, wAFF, Ame and Joris Voorn amongst a host of others, we feel more justified than ever in tipping Komati for a big 2016.

When Tough Love first began putting out records, one of the guiding motivations was to release music that sounds like the music David West makes. We didn’t know it at the time, because we hadn’t yet heard of him. It’s funny how the very thing you’re looking for falls into your lap. If you don’t already know of David, and the various guises he performs under, then I’m a little envious, for you have a lot to discover for the first time. On 5th August, Tough Love will release Peace or Love, the second album to be issued under his own name. That can be either your starting point, or your continuation down a road.

The facts: Peace or Love is the follow-up to USA/Australia-based musical artist David West's 2015 cassette release, Drop Out Of Collage. Peace or Love is a collection of songs stemming from wild and free bedroom four-track cassette recordings and personal hard drive sample raiding, with contributions from various musical friends in Perth, Western Australia and SF/LA, California. West draws inspiration from free-thinking artists of the past and present on this polyphonic platter, from soft indie strumming and free soundscapes, to disco and soul-pop. West currently plays in the guitar pop band Rat Columns, synth-pop project Liberation and post-punk trio Rank/Xerox, and has been in varied acts such as Lace Curtain, Burning Sensation, Total Control and Whalehammer.

If you were feeling particularly grand, you could say that David West has created his own ecology, or you could just say he’s a very busy man. I told David over email that Peace or Love feels like an album that was made specifically for me. His reply? “It is for YOU. And YOU. And YOU. And YOU…Peace or love is the same thing - you want to be free and you want to be loved....but you gotta choose one” This is music from the margins that deserves a place in the middle of anyone's heart.

"Connecticut's Landing have specialized in a mild and rural kind of psychedelia over the course of nearly two decades. Recent releases have seen them closer to post-punk and shoegaze territory than ever, but Third Sight – recorded specifically for El Paraiso Records’ Impetus series – builds on the hallucinatory soundscapes of the band's earliest days.

There's a unique sense of motoric drift to these four long pieces, and an organic blend of rock instrumentation and analog electronics that brings to mind Eno's best collaborations in the 1970s. But the group's flair for fuzzy drones and new weirdsy commune-folk also betrays their affiliation with the experimental American east coast scene –these guys have played shows with their friends in Bardo Pond, releasing a split EP with Windy & Carl and playing numerous Terrastocks throughout their existence. 

And despite releasing one brilliant album after another the band remains appalingly under-appreciated. Perhaps because the tryyps Landing take are rooted in self-exploration. As trends in krautrock, drone, folk, and psychedelia ebb and flow, Landing remain unfazed. The door to Landing’s world is open, but there isn’t a flashing neon sign above it. These guys are far removed from the hustle and bustle of geographic cultural bubbles, both physically and spiritually.

Listening through this LP is likely to stimulate mental images of rural winds blowing across vast American fields of grass, bonfires, blue rivers and power lines sailing through rolling hills. Landing's psychedelia possesses a rare timelessness. We are proud to present this offering from the band in the El Paraiso catalog!"
