OPPA KNUT IN: "DAS PHANTOM, DER OPPA" (Oppa Knut's Haunting)

Multi-layered sonic creation with a guitar-centric melody and some improv. Guitar used - Sire Larry Carlton S-10 HSS, played through a Fender Tone Master Pro pedal board. Other parts triggered by my Komplete Kontrol S49 keyboard, with some loops as well. Rise up Sleeping Giants!

Hello everyone... This time I have something very special to share with you, because a few months ago I met up again with two of my bandmates from the long-gone Hydra days. Our former guitarist Detlev, now suffering from severe physical ailments, rediscovered his old love of music in our local bar in Herne, of all places. At the Affenhack, as the bar is called, he picked up an instrument despite his disability and began to learn and practice.
He had ideas for composing again, and one of these compositions is being released here today. It's kind of a little thank you to the scene that gave him courage and confidence again. We've now spent weeks working together to realize this piece in my little home studio. Hannes Krause, the third man in the group, brilliantly supported us with his guitar playing... The result is the piece: Nordstrasse 178, which I hope you will enjoy and have fun with. The accompanying video is still in the works, but we are confident that we will be able to present the masterpiece next weekend... Greetings from Herne from Detlev, Hannes, and Jürgen
