A lot of playing around with this one. a mix of live and digital with a lot of the percussion recorded rather than using samples. started simple with a synth  and a violin rhythm and started playing with poly rhythm ideas and it kind of ran off on it's own from there.

Sunday Session 6th May 2018

Got pretty Dark here and it took a while I there where alot of interruptions today. Started with Percussive Acoustic guitar through several effects and then put some cello over that. I got the Waves Chamber plugin on Friday so I used that a lot on this. I quite like the dark Bass pulse I got.

Sunday Session 29th July 2018

Started simple and ended up with this. Can anyone guess the Inspiration. Dulcimers of various types and By the end I had 7 percussion kits some doing some very unpercussiony things  HAHA. 

It was lots of fun and I am quite happy with it. Saving to audio as the alarm was going off so it was right down to the wire

Sunday Session 26th August 2018

I had a very busy weekend last week and only got to do 2 hours on this so I set it aside to try and finish through the week
And here it is, Acoustic guitar and drums.
The 2 hours on Sunday where spent writing and recording the Acoustic tracks(in a very hot room with the fan turned off and the Cat demanding entrance haha)
later in the week, Wednesday night I think  I put in another hour just working in the production for the guitar tracks. the low guitar is parallel compressed with a sub harmonic generator on a side chain.
the mid-range guitar in also parallel compressed. (not a very balanced recording though. If it wasn't for a Sunday session I would have re-recorded it)  
and the high part didn't need anything so I just cleaned it up a little.
Today I spent the last hour programming and mixing my drums and finishing off the track.
This would sound great with a lead line of some sort or even as a song.

This Is a piano version of "Adrift among the ruins of Memory"
The Idea is to complete the melodic composition in a simple form.

This version with now be used as a guide for the final version with full instrumentation.
