WHAT IN THE WORLD IS ELLIOTT'S EVIL PLAN?

Elliott's Evil Plan features fiery singer Cathey Cotten and guitarist Elliott Shannonhouse performing a show of Funky R&B, Soul and Blues "non-stop" dance music.  At the heart of the band is a rhythm section comprised of funky bassist, John-Paul McLean, drummer Jan Jackson and Ron Ransford on Percussion with Denielle Basom on vocals and a horn section lead by Rich Armstrong and Ray Clement.

Front woman, Cathey Cotten and her "Blues Man" band leader guitarist Elliott Shannonhouse formed Elliott's Evil Plan over a mutual love of early R&B and rocking blues. Since their debut, the group have been bringing their big show and powerhouse lineup of musicians to venues and festivals throughout the Bay Area.  Elliott's soaring blues-infused guitar work with it's own distinct rocking sound and her passion for funky grooves and political songs of the 70's keep fans on the dance floor. The "Plan's" retro interpretations of tunes include "People Make the World Go Round", Etta James' funky "Tighten Up Your Own Thing", the Isley Brothers "Fight the Power", Stevie Wonder's "Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing" and artists including Gary Moore, Albert Collins and Peter Green.
